We are located in Sparta, WI at 904 S Black River St. right next to Burger King. If you’re coming from I-90 we are just down the hill, past the roundabout, and on the left. We have a map with our location on our Contact Us page.

Orders, Returns, Payments, and more!

Yes! We do offer special orders if you need something specific that we don’t carry in store but can get through one of our distributors, or if you need a larger quantity than what we normally stock. There is no additional fee for this service!
We receive freight on Thursdays from Emery Jensen and on Fridays from Orgill. Orders for Emery Jensen have to be in by Tuesday afternoon and orders for Orgill have to be in by Wednesday evening, so they can be added to the truck for that week.

Our return policy is 30 days from purchase with a receipt. If you lost your receipt we can look it up if you provide us with the date and approximate time you purchased the product(s).
There are some exceptions to this, as authorized by a manager or the owner. Please try and retain all original packaging and return it in clean, useable condition. If you have any questions feel free to contact us or stop in and we can assist you further.

We accept all methods of payment, with a few exceptions. We only accept local checks with a valid photo ID and we do not accept cryptocurrencies at this time.
Otherwise we can take cash, credit, debit, gift cards/certificates, and contactless payments such as Apply Pay or Google Pay.

Most product warranties are handled through the manufacturer. Information can usually be found on the product label or through the manufacturer’s website.
If you have a product you believe is defective due to manufacturer error, bring it in with your receipt and we will assist you. Sometimes we can replace certain products with the same item if we have them in stock.
Services and Products

We offer key cutting and we also re-key locks! We can cut a wide range of keys, from house keys to car keys and even motorcycle or camper keys! You can find more information about key cutting on the related page by clicking this link.
Re-keying locks can be done for a small fee. Just bring in the lock you want re-keyed, the key that currently works for it, and the key you want it changed to. Just a note, the new key will need to be the same type of key as the old one in order for it to be re-keyed. For example, we cannot re-key a Schlage lock to a Kwikset key, or vice versa. If you are unsure what kind of lock and keys you have, bring them in and one of our employees can assist you.
We can also create new padlocks for you using an existing key. There are limitations to this as we only have a few options for padlocks that will work. Additionally, they can only be coped to a Master Lock key. Stop in and see us for more information if you wish to use this service.

We have a wide range of tools available for rent, from drain snakes to pumps to dollies, and more! While we don’t have a full list on our website yet, we plan to add this in the future.

If you are coming in to get paint matched, all we need is a small dry sample about the size of a dime. Larger samples (about the size of a quarter or bigger) do make it easier, but if you can only manage to get a small piece we can make it work.
We can also match paint based on name or number from a large selection of color decks included in our paint matching software. This includes paint you may have purchased at Walmart, Home Depot, Menards, Ace, etc. If you have any questions, reach out to us on our Contact Us page or stop in and we can assist you further.

Paint mixing does require a bit of time, though you don’t have to stick around for the whole thing. The actual paint shaking takes the longest, anywhere from 4 to 10 minutes per can depending upon how much colorant we have to use. Finding the color and putting the colorant in the can usually only takes a few minutes. Plan for at least 15 minutes if you are coming to get paint mixed and wish to wait, more if you need multiple gallons or quarts or if you haven’t decided on a color yet.
If you need paint but don’t want to wait, we can still make it for you. Just leave your name and number with the employee mixing your paint and either stop in later or we can call you when it’s ready. We also prefer you pay for the paint before you leave in this case.

Yes we do! We can fix all manner of items, or assist you in fixing them yourself. We’ve fixed a wide range of items such as lamps, tools, pumps, furniture, and more.
Complicated or newer items may be harder to fix, but feel free to bring them down and we can see what we can do for you!

Absolutely! Many of our employees are DIYers and handy-people so we will do our best to point you in the right direction for your project.
If we aren’t sure, we can point you in the direction of someone who can or help you look it up.

Of course! We can sell you whatever amount of hardware or fasteners that you need, as long as they aren’t packaged as a specific amount.
We have many common items in bulk bins for this purpose.

Yes you may! We are a dog-friendly store and sometimes we bring in our own dogs to visit the staff and customers. Please make sure to keep an eye on your furry friend while you are shopping, and let an employee know if they have an accident so we can get it cleaned up promptly.
